                | The New Castro Theatre was a first-run house. Having replaced two previous theaters, the Castro Theatre of 1910 and the Castro Theatre of a time thereafter, it was known for a short time as the New Castro Theatre. The theatre eventually became known simply as the Castro Theatre and still is operated today.
