This DVD edition of the documentary has been paired with one of Victor Sjöström’s best-known films, previously available on laserdisc and VHS videotape. Consisting predominantly of extended exerpts from Sjöström films, which ranges from good to excellent quality, the documentary’s appearance on DVD has been too long coming, and is to be considered a companion piece to Bengt Forslund’s biography on Sjöström.
