Ratings (1-10): video: 6 / audio: 4 / additional content: 5 / overall: 5.

This DVD-R edition of The Swan has been mastered from a very-good 16mm reduction print as originally prepared for release on VHS videotape in 2000. The print is lightly marked with dust, speckling, emulsion scrapes, mild exposure fluctuations and frame jitters, and other print flaws.

The film is presented with a music score performed on electric organ by Bob Vaughn. The sound of the organ leaves a lot to be desired.

Supplementary material includes an Al St. John comedy short, transferred from a very-good 16mm reduction print.

Nearly impossible to find now, this is our recommended home video edition of the film.
